Matthew serves as Executive Director of Stepwise, with responsibility for developing the business concept and growth strategy.
Matthew comes from a financial advisory and capital markets background with a focus on maritime transportation and offshore energy, starting in the investment banking department of Jefferies, followed by Clarkson Platou Markets and Arctic Securities, where he led the New York office.

As a COO, Anders has the responsibility to oversee and manage the daily operations of Stepwise.
An industrial designer and project manager with extensive experience within digitalization in the oil & gas industry. Second in command for Equinor's mobile new builds group during construction of 10 mobile newbuilds, a complex project portfolio with split location and cross-disciplinary teams. Lots of offshore experience from platforms and vessels. Digitalization advisor, former design director for a design consultancy and agile coach to several operators to create future oriented software solutions.

As our CCO, Kane is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic objectives, sales and goals related to our product.
Kane has more than 20 years of offshore industry experience with international business, marketing, and contracting responsibilities. Recognised for identifying and capturing major customers in global environments. Knowledgeable in all areas of the upstream value chain and highly developed personal network across oil and gas companies and the service sectors.
Experienced in telecommunications and digital start-up companies with a proven ability to monetise new technology.

Geir Ove's focus is research and development and functions as a marketing manager in Stepwise.
Geir Ove has worked for 22 years with Equinor as VP for the offshore mobile rig business unit, responsible for delivering 17 new-build projects and more than 45 rig intakes. Further, Geir Ove has also held several senior management roles at Smedvig and Odfjell Drilling and has more than 30 years of worldwide experience within the oil and gas industry.

As CFO of Stepwise, Magnus's primary focus is on building a robust and sustainable finance function. This involves establishing strong financial foundations and systems that support scalable growth enable Stepwise meet our goals.
His tasks include financial reporting and planning, managing risks, ensuring compliance, and overseeing the cash flow and capital structure. All while maintaining close communication with investors and other stakeholders such as the Board of Directors or financial institutions. He works closely with the team to shape the company’s strategy and to identify opportunities for expansion and efficiency in the organisation.
Finlay is a respected commercial leader, with over 25 years of international experience in business development, contracting, and customer relationship management in the energy sector and finance. For over twelve years, he has commercialised assets and services globally providing insightful market analysis, market-leading customer service, and effective stakeholder management in the offshore drilling sector.

As our Chief Design Officer, Nick is responsible for the coordination and implementation of design projects within Stepwise with specific focus on the UX, UI and communications for the product.
Nick is a UX designer with 20+ years experience within digitalization, and design driven transformation. Holds a bachelor of design in Industrial Design and a Master of Science in Computing & Design.
Most recent experience as a UX designer & agile scrum master in Aker BP’s digitialization program maturing several MVP products with design lead and project management responsibilities.

Narve is a highly accomplished senior software engineer with over three decades of specialized experience in the maritime industry. As an integral part of the Stepwise team, Narve's responsibilities include driving the development, API integrations, testing, and functional enhancement of the SaaS application, while also serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) throughout the process.
Throughout his career, Narve has demonstrated exceptional leadership in various roles, such as technology specialist, digital manager, and senior software and service engineer. His extensive experience includes working with industry giants such as Cameron and NOV, where he focused on HMI, data management, and cyber security within DevOps environments.
Narve's client experience features companies such as Equinor, Petrobras, OceanRig, Maersk, and Saipem.

Njål has over 30 years of experience within the energy sector. From project engineering to sales, to senior system engineering, system architecture, control systems and OT solutions most recently with Cameron. Enjoys sitting at the intersection of people, processes and technology where the user experience can contribute to successful product development.

An engineer with a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Oda has several years of experience with software product development and automation from National Oilwell Varco. She has held the role as an Integrations Lead and Project Manager for automation programs and complex drilling systems. Oda is also experienced in the digitalization domain and has gained a comprehensive knowledge of drilling automation, optimization, performance analysis and production line efficiency analysis.

Pål Erik serves as an engineering advisor within Stepwise, bringing extensive experience from key technical roles in the oil and gas industry, including Project Manager, Commissioning Manager, Hull Manager, and Technical Section Leader. His expertise spans from early-phase studies to the operation of mobile new builds. Pål Erik has supported numerous new builds during construction in Asia and Norway, and has overseen the Operation Preparations processes for their entry into the NCS.
He possesses strong hands-on knowledge from his positions as Chief and Mechanical Engineer on various vessels, including Semi-submersibles, Jack-ups, RLWI, AHTS, MPSV, and fishing vessels. Pål Erik is an STCW Certified Chief Engineer and holds a professional certificate as a mechanic. He has completed several courses, such as High Voltage and ERM according to STCW, in addition to leadership training.

Erik Haug is a seasoned full-stack developer with a strong proficiency in .NET, complemented by a background in computer science and petroleum engineering. Erik is a full-stack engineer serving Stepwise as an integrations level expert.
In his capacity as a consultant, Erik has collaborated with E&P majors such as ConocoPhillips, Equinor, and Talisman Energy, bringing his expertise to the table.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) with 20 years of experience and expertise in managing, designing, implementing, and troubleshooting information security programs including network infrastructure, applications and Information Security architectures. Proven record of evaluating system vulnerabilities in order to recommend security improvements as well as improve efficiency while aligning business processes with network design and infrastructure. Superior capacity to solve complex problems involving a wide variety of information systems and compliance, work independently on large-scale projects, and thrive under pressure in fast-pace environments while directing multiple projects from concept to implementation.
Sølve Solheim is a seasoned full-stack developer with over 15 years of experience in software engineering and IT consulting. His expertise spans a wide range of technologies, including .NET Core, C#, Docker, Kubernetes, and Microsoft Azure. Sølve brings a wealth of knowledge in system architecture, microservices, and infrastructure as code (IaC) to his role at Stepwise.
In his capacity as a full-stack developer, Sølve has collaborated with major players in the energy sector, including Cameron SLB and Kongsberg Intellifield. His diverse background includes roles as a Senior Full-stack Software Developer at NODES-tech AS and as a System Architect/Project Manager at IConsultable, where he honed his skills in project management and technical leadership.
Sølve's proficiency in both front-end and back-end development, coupled with his experience in the oil and gas industry, makes him a valuable asset to Stepwise's development team. His expertise in security, Grafana, and TimescaleDB further enhances his ability to deliver robust and scalable solutions for complex engineering challenges.
With over 10 years of experience managing overhaul projects for various drilling equipment, Morten Skeie brings extensive expertise in delivering projects within tight schedules and high expectations. He has held key roles as a project manager at Enerquip AS and Tratec Offshore Solutions, where he was responsible for managing new contracts and ensuring seamless project execution. Additionally, Morten worked as a Design Engineer at National Oilwell Varco (NOV), contributing to equipment design.
Morten excels at problem-solving and is dedicated to meeting clients’ technical requirements while adhering to budget constraints. His strong focus on understanding the complete package before startup ensures efficient project and design execution.
At Stepwise Morten will ensure that the customers are easily onboarded and delighted by our software, and to provide continuous support and advice on how to manage their ambitions for emission reductions.
Morten holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics from the University of Agder, graduating in 2007.

Martin a designer who loves the combination of solving problems and building beautiful solutions. His passion revolves around creating value for users and stakeholders through insight and exploration. He enjoy being part of the early process to understand the challenge and to influence the direction. Also, being part of the implementation is crucial for a good end result and feels lucky when he can nerd out on details together with developers.
During the past six years he hasworked as product designer in Oslo, primarily building “Styrerommet” for OBOS – making life easier for board members in housing companies.
Outside of work he like to hang with his kids, explore Stavanger and try to learn the piano.

As a seasoned professional within the O&G sector, Hogne provides a wealth of advisory experience to Stepwise.
Hogne has held most engineering and operations positions in the oil industry, from drilling to reservoir engineer, from drilling supervisor to projects manager. He holds strong expertise within management systems, risk management and analyses, coordination and systematics, including ISO certification within quality management and risk management. Senior advisor for several years within time and cost estimation. Recent special projects have been within areas of accident investigation and improvement processes, assessment of quality planning in well operation teams, corporate learning systems, improved planning (corporate level, oil company), stakeholder management, mobile offshore drilling unit construction, incentives to drilling contracts, consortium establishment.
As the development project manager with Milo Solutions, Anastasiia is responsible for coordinating the dev team’s activities, assigns tasks to dev members, and ensures the project is completed on time and within budget. In addition, he manages the agile backlog for the team.
Anastasiia has a passion for fostering team dynamics and optimising development processes. Her career path has been marked by a commitment to improving the intersection of people and processes, resulting in more cohesive teams and streamlined workflows.

As Chairman of the Board Per Robert provides guidance and support to the executive team and ensures the board functions efficiently and effectively.
Per Robert is an independent advisor to companies and key stakeholders navigating the energy transition. Per-Robert has more than 20 years of experience in the capital markets, focusing on the energy sector. Graduated from the BI Norwegian School of Management with a Master of Business and Economics.
As a Director Birgitte provides leadership and guidance and assists with the overall strategy and vision for Stepwise.
Birgitte holds a position as a partner in Eltek Holding, she is currently an advisor to companies and key stakeholders in the companies owned by Eltek Holding. She has worked for more than 25 years in consulting. Has acted as a senior advisor across industries in Business Development, Digitalisation, Branding, Design, People and Organisation. Her last role in Consulting was as CEO. Broad board experience from both listed companies and start-ups.
As a CFO and an investment professional Ane brings unique financial acumen to her role as Director of the Board.
Experienced Board Member and Senior Investment Professional with a particular focus on distressed companies / restructuring. Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Finance from The Sauder School of Business at University of British Columbia and a Leslie Wong Fellow with the UBC Portfolio Management Foundation.
